BRIEF HISTORY
ENOW-NJOCK Foundation (ENF) is a Cameroonian based non-governmental charity organisation. It started informal as a Community-Based Organization (CBO) in 2003, took a significant step and was registered as an Association in 2005, and has since evolved to gain official NGO status and charity foundation recognition by the Cameroon Ministry of Territorial Administration in 2023.
Dedicated to enhancing education, healthcare and livelihood in Cameroon, ENF collaborates with over 100 Community Initiative Groups (CIG), Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and other local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to jointly advocating to influence government policy and spearhead reform initiatives. Our commitment revolves around bridging individuals to policies and best practices, aiming to foster a more robust educational system and holistic development across Cameroon. Our influence encompasses diverse avenues, including running our own schools, engaging in governmental advocacy, orchestrating health and awareness campaigns, media engagement, knowledge dissemination throughout our networks, holding authorities accountable, and sponsoring excellence awards events, as well as promoting sustainable agriculture and Community Development.
At the core of our philosophy is the belief that our impact as a non-governmental organisation is amplified when we collaborate. Concurrently, the foundation has observed a distressing escalation in the population of orphans and vulnerable persons throughout Cameroon, a trend that has become a focal point for our endeavours.
ENF, a community-based non-governmental organization, has been dedicated to uplifting communities since 2003. Operating in the South West, Centre, Littoral, and Adamawa Regions of Cameroon, our vision is to develop self-reliant communities, ensuring dignified lives for children, youth, women, and people living with disabilities through exceptional services that exceed expectations and maximise their potential.
